You might also be interested by the <a href="http://idavoll.ik.nu/" rel="nofollow">Idavoll</a> <a href="http://idavoll.ik.nu/wiki/HTTP_Interface" rel="nofollow">HTTP-XMPP Pubsub gateway</a> with <a href="http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-saintandre-atompub-notify" rel="nofollow">Atom notifications over XMPP</a>. And there are some PubSub services running @ <a href="//ik.nu" rel="nofollow">xmpp://ik.nu</a>. If you search for an XMPP client supporting PubSub, get a look at at Gajim SVN Trunk.
